واحد من افضل برامج تحرير النصوص , يوجد منه اصدارين. الإصدار التجاري EditPad Pro والإصدار المجاني EditPad Lite وهذا الأخير كافي للقيام بمهام كثيرة وممتازة وشخصيا استخدمه في تحرير الكثير من الملفات بدلا من برنامج المفكرة وله الكثير من المميزات ربما من أهمها انه قادر على فتح ملفات نصوص ضخمة جدا دون أن يتسبب في أضرار لجهازك كما يسمح بفتح أكثر من ملف نصي متعددة مثلا ملفات php أو html أو txt أو sql وغيرها من الملفات التي تتعامل معها.

بعض مميزات البرنامج

1) تستطيع فتح أكثر من ملف والتبديل بينهم عبر علامات تبويب أعلى نافذة البرنامج

2) يعمل على منصات تشغيل متختلفة مثل اليونكس والماكنتوش إضافة إلى الويندوز

3) عملية تراجع عن خطوات منفذة أو إعادة خطوات متراجع عنها undo and redo بغير حدود طالما لم تغلق الملف بعد

4) يدعم الكثير من ترميز النصوص بما فيها الترميز المتعلق باللغة العربية مثل windows-1265 , utf-8 وترميز ISO وبذلك فهو مثالي لتحرير اي ملف نصوص حسب الترميز المتبع في إعداده.
